I just think it's stupid when people allow ship disagreements to dictate a friendship. Mutual love for a fandom is something that should be greater than hatred sprung from differing preferences.

ack, this always happens to me in this fandom! i love it so much it breaks my heart and i can't let go... you'd think that the equal yet proportionate ratio of my love:hate in this fandom would cancel itself out and leave me apathetic but no. it does not. HP is my literary translated into film abusive boyfriend fandom. the circle cannot be broken. i've tried. :'(

OH GOD NO. I've stayed away from BH because 1)it's british and 99% of my british shows have left me empty and broken. 2)it's gonna be like Harry Potter isn't it? where i fall in love with two characters who are perfectly flawed and perfectly compliment one another but will never be together because the universe would break from their perfectness.

Oh man, it is an abusive boyfriend fandom. :( I feel like my fandoms can toss me around a lot, but what you're describing sounds SO MUCH MORE INTENSE than anything I've had. I wish I could just make it better for you! :(

BH is a fantastic show. It goes to some pretty dark places though, especially in the second season. And there are two utterly perfect-for-each-other characters, at least in my opinion. And they actually got together this season! That's like, unheard of for my OTPs! Only they're all going through so much shit (the guy is seriously going crazy right now) that it's really angsty and stuff, sooooo... Idk. But they're so very beautiful! And Annie is one of my favorite characters in EVER, she is so awesome and she's gone through such a monumental character growth and if she doesn't kick ass in this finale I will be VERY ANGRY.

Yeah, this show gives me ~feelings. ^_^; This season will be over in a couple weeks, so maybe wait til then so I can tell you if my heart is utterly broken before you get emotionally invested? Idk, I'm always looking to convert people on my flist lol.

i've learned to just go with it no matter how devastating the effect. i'll do it, but i'll be kicking and screaming cos the alternative causes too much destruction in my psyche, heart, brain, etc... kind like a band aid the quicker i go through it the less it'll hurt... THE FIRST THREE EPISODES ARE GREAT. WATCH THEM. It's really four and five that get all angsty for our OTP. BUT IT IS SUCH GOOD ANGST. EVEN IF I WANT TO SMACK MITCHELL A LOT (he is kind of dealing with a bunch of crap right now though, so I'll forgive him eventually if he doesn't screw it up too much).

I have faith in the writers though. They have not failed me yet. I mean, they made my OTP canon. That never happens. THAT NEVER HAPPENS.

gifs have to be less than 500m in size; if you make a text post and use the Upload option on the top right corner it loads normally. the tagging is just weird... i still have to figure that feature out.

I hate that you're feeling so bad. I went through a similar thing with Voyager and J/C. Just, I was so BITTER and RESENTFUL at how my beautiful OTP that were clearly Meant to Be were thwarted at the last minute by a stupid twist that made no sense, given who the characters were. And it just made me spaz out and RAEG and ANGST MY HEART OUT off and on for...well, years afterward, tbh. So...I feel for you, bb. I hope it stops hurting you soon. *squish*
