hither and thither

snurched from all over.

Your main fandom of the year?
I didn't have one. I flailed like fish out of water. Lost ended. I mourned but not too hard cos I wasn't that invested because there was a serious lack of Juliet. Latched quickly on to Criminal Minds in the summer and that petered out by fall (FU CBS). Then there was Star Trek Reboot (more specifically Kirk/Uhura and all its mirror!verse awesomeness). Currently, HARRY FUCKING POTTER sucked me back in with Deathly Hallows after I resolved to NEVER NEVER NEVER re-invest. *eyeroll*

Your favorite film watched this year?
It was Inception. Then going with most recent and hanging most of this admiration on Emma Watson's performance because this girl now owns mah soul, Deathly Hallows.

Your favorite book read this year?
Meh... not much reading was done this year. Let the Right One In? *shrug*

Your favorite album or song to listen to this year?
Sigh No More MUMFORD & SONS. Fuck. Yes. Every. Fucking. Song.

Your favorite TV show of the year?
The teevee and I are separated and going forward with the divorce.

Your best new fandom discovery of the year?
TUMBLR IS LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIFE. ...but mostly for the pretties.

Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year?
Ugh, so many. Criminal Minds shenanigans. Glee!fail. TBBT moving to Thursdays. The lack of Barney/Robin on HIMYM. The EPIC FAIL that was Merlin. The boringness that became True Blood.

Your TV boyfriend of the year?
Spencer Reid and/or Captain Phil Harris.

Your TV girlfriend of the year?
Emily Prentiss.

Your biggest squee moment of the year?
Fucking THIS:

The most missed of your old fandoms?
Oh gods I'm so cynical now... I don't think I miss any of them at this moment it was more of a good riddance feeling.

The fandom you haven't tried yet, but want to?
Hmm... Eureka? I have the dvds but haven't watched them yet.

Your biggest fan anticipations for the New Year?
Fangirling has taught me that when it comes to anticipation I take the Sylvia Plath route: If you expect nothing from anybody, you're never disappointed. eta: oh oh oh, I KNOW! GAME OF THRONES AND CAMELOT. ...yeah.

This year's theme:
Let go of that which is poisonous and keep marching on...

In conclusion, have a handsome:
