...or you know, an excuse to put two really pretty people together on screen. I guess Emily and Gaspard were the reasons I could tolerate Edward/Bella. I liked it when they lived in my head.

This is gorgeous! I'm assuming they're all manip'd into looking like they're together, enacting Twilight, yes?

Makes me wish Emily hadn't turned down the role. URGH, I just want to smack her so bad.

Wait, SHE WAS OFFERED THE ROLE?!?!? *whimpers along with you* *fist of triumph* See, I'm so torn... I can't decide to cry or laugh or huzzah cos her being Bella would've given us a HEROINE TO ROOT FOR but yay! cos Emily's too good for the failness that came out. I hate/love this fandom.

Okay, so she wasn't CONFIRMED for the role, but considering that Smeyer was rooting for her, it's a pretty sure bet. An author with as much authority as her, I'm pretty sure the studio would've gone with her choice, especially as Emily's so talented.

But I kinda hate her guts. Because I would love to be an actress in another life, and she had Hollywood at her feet and all these opportunities THROWN at her, and if she couldn't be bothered, why go into the industry at all?! SO MANY people would kill to be in her position, and she squanders it! Okay, it's her prerogative, but still...

I hate/love this fandom.

See, I TOTALLY respect her for that. YAY! EM! She wants to turn in quality stuff, have you SEEN Univited?!?! She kicks ass in that film and holy shnikey there's a lot of crap going on like she said, emotional, physical, mental I needed a recuperation period from watching it. Everything's about timing and structure. The universe wants to save her for something SUPERB. SUPERB I TELLS YA! So she may have Hollywood at her beck and call but so does Cate Blanchett. We may get something beyond our expectation of her and she'll have US groveling at her feet. I'm just sayin'... Plus, she escaped the wankage supreme of Twatlight.
