I KNOW!!! He's such an arse in If Wishes Were Horses tho... Oh, Tommy why so damaged??? AND BABS! BABS OF AWESOME!!! *luffs*

Well, you know. He as DADDY ISSUES and emotional damage. Honestly, I tend to love him more because he IS a big jerk and remains a big jerk, but has moments of grace that do make up for it. Also, Barbara kicks him repeatedly for his stupidity and that? ALWAYS worth the ticket.

It's just always so shocking to me how assyful he can be yet his motive and reason is something I can't find fault with. Saying that these two are complex would be an understatement. I don't think there IS a word for how screwed up they are. I love this show! Must. Watch. More.

I like to say that they're broken in complimentary pieces. Because, really, what Tommy needs more than anything is someone to give him shit and call him on his own with absolutely no artifice or malice. And Barbara? Bless her, but she needs someone to engage her and make her use her mind and get her out of her own head enough to be what she can.

I love that the show pretty much drags them through all kinds of character development and advancement and that, at the end of the day, they're very different people than when they started.

That... is an EXCELLENT way of describing them. Perfect. He pushes and pushes til he gets his way yet I like that she does stand up to him whenever he's all jerkface to people and even more so the varying ways in which she does it. The Babs love grows exponentially as I'm rewatching. He's so snotty and she doesn't let him get away with it. PARTNERS! AAAHH! My head is gonna explode from all this analysing.

And all in an hour and a half! How can a show this smart NOT be on teevee anymore?!?!? Grr.

YAY! I love that one. And yes, his long hair was kinda gross... he let himself go on his suspension. Tommy just can't stay away! Workaholic.

It most definitely is. It's all about whodunnit? Plus the whole partners thing is very much so like MSR crossbred with Charlie/Dani. WIN.
