Numbered & Rambly
One. The family has left. The house is still a wreck. I feel like all I do is clean and I'm NEVER gonna be caught up. *sigh*

Two. I have STILL not caught up on Lost, 24, Spartacus. I have no idea what's going on... now'd be a good time to catch up, eh? Thank you Olympics. I am however current on TBBT, HIMYM and Leverage (finale tonight!).

Three. Too bad I'm all distracted by my shiny SG1 collection. GAH! Must. Prioritise. I CAN'T FIND MY DAN/SAM ICON!!! *sobs* Just when I need it too. BAH! I found a lot of fic tho. Awwwww, geek!love is cute.

Four. JAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!! I forgot how much I enjoyed this show. It's a total break from the heavy lifting of my usual mythology teevee fare.

Five. This guy is FREAKING hilarious. Red Letter Media. You can also find his stuff on youtube. His Star Wars stuff is especially awesome. The Avatar one is funny. And no Trek is safe.

Six. I still need to find some exercise motivation. I've been good at eating healthy foods, but the exercise. I HAVE NO MOTIVATION. Grrrrr. *pokes motivation*

Seven. I finished Sword of Storms. Omigosh. I don't know where to start. Arya, cos that begins with 'a' and is a beginning of sorts... I CRIED when Harwin and the Brotherhood Without Bannners found and recognised her. I felt that betrayal when she was ransomed. I rejoiced when she was reunited with Needle. When will it be Nymeria's turn?!?!? WHEN?! Her gritty determination to not balk at gettin' shit did is a freaking genius character trait for GRRM to instill a ten year old girl. Wow. Just freaking WOW. ...and now, on to Braavos!

Jon. Oh, poor angsty Jon! Jon Snow = TORMENT. One of the hard scrabbled men from Brownderton he shall be and now he has sexy scars. Also, I don't think he's really a Stark, well at least not from Ned's line of Stark. Jon is in complete displacement amongst EVERY. SINGLE. PEOPLES. he comes across. I have two theories. A) Benjen is his true father and Ned, out of the kindness of his goodness he took him so his brother wouldn't suffer reproach for breaking vows. B) He's Lyanna and Rhaegar's bastard and Ned, out of the kindness of his goodness he took him so his sister wouldn't suffer reproach ('member, she made him promise her as she was dying) which, WHICH! would make him the true heir of Westeros. And don't tell me you didn't see that coming. Murder, mystery and Agatha Christie. Of course, this would put him in direct conflict with Dany. Dany with THREE dragons and an army of not!slaves/killers.

Dany. I still don't understand the whole trek. I mean, YES, she's struggling to become Queen, but I'm quite tiresome of her being this orbiting entity with only passing mentions in the majority of the Western story. Unless, and I'm weaving theory here, Arya going to the East will eventually have her being in the service of Dany and lead to her reuniting with at the very least Jon, Bran, Rickon.

Sansa. Why do I have the feeling that she's going to be killed? Not this overwhelming feeling of SHE'S GONNA DIE! but this niggling feeling that if she doesn't keep her senses about her and utilise resourcefulness, Littlefinger will have the best of her. She's not the brightest crayon in the box.

...and there's more, but my eyes are sore so I'll get back to that later. TTFN.

I think the thing with Dany's storyline is that the series was originally supposed to be a trilogy (hah) and she would've probably landed in Westeros somewhere in the middle of book two. Now GRRM has to keep her busy for way longer.

Your option (B) re. Jon is interesting thinking :)

HA! Trilogy. What a laugh. Hence the ruling in Meereen. However for me, as a character in comparison to oh, let's say Arya or Cersei, she's more defined by her dragons than her badassery. I kinda want her to be more badass, you know? I guess I have to wait for the next book for that, eh?

Gods I hope it's TRUE! It'd be so Dickensian if it were. But, most of my theories end up in the crapper anyway. I am nothing if not optimistic. *shrug*

Dany has a special advantage, yeah. People will do anything you say if you have a dragon threatening to toast them alive. Clash is her slooooowest book, but IMO her real story won't kick into high gear until the fifth book anyway (not even published yet!).

And I think you should hold on to this theory personally!

THIS AWESOME!

Nnnnyargh! For serious. Arya = SURVIVAL. I'm woefully bereft of adjectives to describe how much and why I love Arya. Therefore, askdfj!@#%!wo4e5ahb!#$!$@^%&!^@~!!!!!

'la la la I hearts sand'

LOL! PMSL. I need to icon that.

Oh, Sansa. I'm still on the fence with her. I want her to grow a pair, wake up, shake herself out of it... I'm not really down with the damsel in distress stories. Then again, she's lost her direwolf so her constitution would be far less than the rest of the Stark children. Sad.
