Halp!
It wouldn't be the first time I made some kind of tactical error when it comes to reading serial novels, but did I TOTALLY miss something in between Dead As A Doornail and Definitely Dead? Confusion. I has it.

Random comment to squee: I picked up Grave Secret last night! *bounces* I don't know if you read the Harper Connolly books but I so enjoy them. ^_^

I know Charlaine Harris is more famous for True Blood but her other series deserve some love, too!

LOL. I've seen them, but mysteries don't really float my literary boat... I'd rather have thousand year old blonde Vikings romping through my brain cavity.

I love the wit and humour CH uses. I'm sure they're prevalent in her other works. ;)

I just love her super power. I mean, it's such a useless ability- knowing how people died, locating dead bodies- and then turning it into a business. Win!

*snorts* I see the attraction of the blond Vikings, though. And CH is so brilliantly witty and entertaining, it's hard to resist her writing. ^_^

LOL! That kinda makes me wish I liked mysteries. ...also LOVE! for the Becket icon. HEE! They just reran that ep here a few days ago. So freaking funny.

I think the surge in popularity for vamp stuff has contributed to the True Blood props for her, which is kinda irritating for us regular normal fangirls of this stuff cos it's like SERIOUSLY! GET OFF MAH BANDWAGON! *kicks them off*

HEEHEE. Spike! Being terrifying! Terrifyingly cute!

Um. Isn't the Sookie Stackhouse series called 'The Southern Vampire Mysteries'? So you could say you ARE a mystery type person... :P

Hmm, y'know, I get what you mean, the original fans BEFORE the hype brought in a new wave of devotees get miffed when people swan in on the tide of popularity and just want it to go back to being exclusive to 'real' fans, not fad!whores, but...it's great news for the author.

I definitely wish more fangirls would adulate my favorite series, because those authors totally deserve more love. But it would be bloody annoying in fandom. There's no winning for losing, argh!

Spike, my most favouritest of vamps.

o_____________0 It is? Shows you how much I pay attention...

Fandom is a pretty much damned if you do damned if you don't situation. We just can't win!
